Artist's Description
I had to stop and get a picture of this amazing winding river that skirts along the valley near Crested Butte. The flowers that year were top notch, and decorated the hillsides with bright colors.
About Sunniye Buesing
I first fell in love with photography when I began hiking about 8 years ago. At first, I took pictures because I was so slow and out of shape that I used it as an excuse to stop and catch my breath. Even when I got to the point where I could hike faster, I still found myself stopping to take pictures. For me, taking pictures trains my eye to look for beauty. These pictures are a love letter to the mountains of Colorado, where I learned to love life. These pictures are also a love letter to all of my hiking partners, who put up with my constantly stopping to get a good shot! I currently shoot using a Sony A7R4. I still consider myself a beginner, and I learn more every day.
